Why We Built This

Anime Alert Japan started from a simple frustration: finding out about a limited Pokemon Center drop or a Demon Slayer pop-up cafe after it already sold out. Japanese anime merchandise moves fast — limited runs sell out in hours, pop-ups close within weeks, and collaboration goods never get restocked.

We built a system that monitors official Japanese sources daily — press releases, retailer feeds, and news aggregators — to surface the drops that matter most to international fans. Every item on our site comes with a direct buy link from a verified Japanese retailer, so you can act before things sell out.

We're a small team of anime fans who've spent way too many late nights refreshing Japanese store pages. Now you don't have to.
